Rise in Graffiti cases in Hillsboro |

Graffiti is a social menace, an abnormal behavior to grab attention or a prank. This latest incident in Hillsboro involved four teenaged boys who were charged with more than 20 cases of graffiti. They were caught while tagging mailboxes with their pet names and other markings. Most of them were in the age group of 16-17 who were indulging in Halloween tagging in an area along the border of Tualatin Valley Highway, 15th Street, and Main and Maple streets. Police do not suspect this to be a case of organized gang tagging but an isolated case of graffiti.
